Roubo Madness

Today we are in Tennessee delivering wood to my son to make what will be his second Roubo bench.
We worked on leveling his first one then used it to plane the legs for the second one.
We couldn't plane the oak because yours truly forgot his planer would only accept six inch thick wood. The oak measured 6 and a half. Oops.

We also had to work on the legs, they were a bit bigger than 6 inches so, we had to cut off about a half of an inch before we could run it through the planer.

We also worked on leveling the first Roubo Bench as well as trim off the ends. This bench is heavy, but not as heavy as the oak!
